Doesn’t make any difference.

If any pro-life or other folks vote third party or do not vote, then that is a vote for Hillary and abortion.

They have to vote smart where they need to.

I agree.. voting SMART is voting for the ONLY candidate who can defeat the HildaBEAST in the GENERAL election.. and that is Duncan Hunter.. hands down.. but we have to get him through the PRIMARY first.. that is the biggest challenge.. if conservatives SELL-OUT in the PRIMARY that we DESERVE the HildaBEAST...

I see this as very simple math my FRiend.. look at it this way...

If FRED drops out 100% of FRED supporters WILL support Duncan Hunter....however..

If DUNCAN drops out 50% or more of Duncan Hunter supporters WILL NOT vote for FRED... which means that a FRED victory in the PRIMARY is a HILDABEAST victory in the General election....

THis is just the facts my FRiend.... do you dispute this?

Duncan Hunter probably will NOT make it, but who ever does, that is the one to vote for.

Sure, if Duncan wins the nomination, then fine. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Duncan though.

You are preaching to the choir my FRiend.. I have publicly stated MANY TIMES.. that I WILL hold my nose and vote for the GOP nomminee no matter who it is.. Duncan Hunter is the ONLY candidate that I can vote for WITHOUT "holding my nose" --- the problem we will have in 2008 is that MANY conservatives are sick and tired of "holding their noses" in the voting booth and WILL NOT do so this time around.. EVEN if it means HILDAbeast wins... if we (conservatives) fail to support the BEST candidate --(DUNCAN HUNTER) than we DESERVE the beast... that is where we are heading... like it or not.... agree or disagree.. that is where we are heading

The only possible Presidential victories will be with either Democrats or Republicans.
There are a few words for those that will not vote Republican in the actual election... STUPID IDIOTS.

Disagree - Hillary has such huge negatives, people who will not even consider voting for her, both Republican and Democrat, that only the drive by media can consider it an easy victory for her in the general election. Probably even John McCain could defeat her, which is what keeps Obama's campaign afloat, and Edwards edging on the side, hopeful.

I see.. so you acknowledge the fact that a FRED victory in the PRIMARY will lose a LOT of the conservative base.. but you are willing to take the chance that fewer Democrats will vote Hillary in order for FRED to win the General election? -- Now how silly is that.. why not support the guy that can rally ALL the conservatives and a good chunck of the Moderate Democrats --- DUNCAN HUNTER -- ever heard of RONALD REAGAN?

I agree.. sad to see so many conservative FReepers willing to settle for LESS than the "Ronald Reagan" candidate in 2008

Yeah, umm, see, I’m in California, I live seventy-five miles from Duncan Hunter’s district in a state that has been craving Republican leadership to the point that we put our eggs in the Arnold Basket. Duncan who? That’s the response from most Californians. Were we three years out from the election, yeah, this might be a completely different reality, but we’re a scant two and a half months from the first primaries.

Unless Duncan has a billion dollars in his pocket he can spend on advertising, his campaign is ended.

But you’re more than welcome to continue waving his flag, just like the Ron Paulites can, and the Hucksters. I’ll wave Fred’s flag because he has far more name recognition while still maintaining conservative roots.

I would like to see the same 925 FREEPERS who voted FOR Duncan Hunter in THIS poll

http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=197

to do a serious GUT CHECK — and vote likewise the current poll

kingu,

escuse me for being blunt.. but that is pure BS... it will NOT take a billion dollars in advertising.. it will only take the folks who NOW understand that Duncan Hunter is the best candidate.. regardless of whether they got on board a month ago or an hour ago... if everyone who understands that Duncan Hunter IS the best candidate DEMANDS that the media start covering him that his numbers will SKYROCKET overnight.. we are very close to the break-out point.. but we are not there yet... stop with the defeatist attitude and stand up and be counted my FRiend..
