The DUmmie FUnnies are under a bigtime attack by an organized campaign by the Leftwing Blogosphere to keep us from winning as FUnniest Blog in the 2007 Weblog Awards. Late yesterday afternoon the DUmmie FUnnies, thanx for the most part to Freeper Power, was leading in that poll by almost 700 votes. Then the Left got desperate. They just can't tolerate a blog, dedicated to mocking and satirizing their many foibles to win that award. Therefore, led by Sadly No! and the Democrat Underground, a host of leftwing websites is now targetting us by urging their readers to vote for Sadly No! in the FUnniest Blog category. As a result the lead has quickly shrunk and Sadly No! now leads by about 30 votes.
A measure of how DESPERATE they are to defeat the DUmmie FUnnies is that Head DUmmie Skinner at the Democrat Underground has allowed the DUmmie thread targetting the DUmmie FUnnies to remain up (the current DUFU edition features that thread). Normally he IMMEDEATELY deletes any post/thread that so much as mentions the DUmmie FUnnies (or Conservative Underground).
I know that Freeper Power can counteract this attack on us. Therefore I am asking for your vote for the DUmmie FUnnies as the FUnniest Blog by clicking HERE.
The first time you click the circle next to "DUmmie FUnnies" you should see it turn dark yellow. You need to click it again. When you see the vote stats Results page, you will know your vote has been registered. You can vote once every 24 hours until the contest closes on Thursday.

The DUmmies now have a Vote thread on this on their “Greatest” Page. Until now, Head DUmmie Skinner NEVER even allowed any mention of the DUmmie FUnnies on his site. Such is his desperation that he is allowing a thread to not only remain up that mentions the DUFUs but also to go on his Greatest Page.
No. The DUmmie FUnnies are now DOWN by 10 votes. Head DUmmie Skinner is pulling out all the stops to PREVENT the DUmmie FUnnies from winning.

An update on the organized movement against PJ Comix and the DuFu:
He’s been pinging mass amounts of Freepers with some kind of daily ping list, and posting updates and beg-notices literally every few minutes.
In brief, we have had all that we can stands, and we can’t stands no more. To that degree, allow me to make a statement of foreshadowing. First, vote here, if you’re so inclined (it’s possible and encouraged to vote once per day). Nextly:
