This is Thread II of the DUmmie FUnnies 2007 Weblog Vote for FUnniest Blog. You can VOTE for the DUmmie FUnnies by clicking HERE.
Remember, you can vote once per day until Thursay. In fact I just a few minutes ago voted for the DUmmie FUnnies a second time when my own 24 hour period was up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you vote, you will often see the circle that you clicked next to the DUmmie FUnnies turn dark yellow. You MUST click that circle again to make your vote register. Once you see a vote total RESULTS you will know that your vote has actually registered. I think a lot of people yesterday thought they had voted when they really didn't because they did not click again after the circle turned dark yellow. PLEASE CLICK THE CIRCLE UNTIL YOU SEE THE VOTE TOTAL RESULTS.
Now for the good news. After a neck and neck race with Sadly No!, a far left blog that specializes in mocking non-Muslim Western religions, the DUmmie FUnnies has SURGED back into the lead overnight with a vote total of 709, with a lead of 144 votes.
Now for the bad news. I fully expect that after the Sadly No! fans wake up from their Friday night drug stupors that Sadly No! will quickly close the gap again. This happened in a very dramatic fashion last night as you can read in THREAD I at exactly 8:58 PM in Thread #164. Then the MIRACLE happened. Freeper MtnClimber posted a THREAD in the FR Religion Forum and IMMEDIATELY the DUmmie FUnnies surged back into the lead roaring up to our current vote total. So let us all give a BIG HAND to the folks posting in the Religion Forum for turning things around.
Okay, I think we can hold off the expected surge of Sadly No! by outvoting them today but I can see it will take a great deal of effort. Please let your friends and family know about this.
Yesterday, I gave you a good motivation for voting for the DUmmie FUnnies as FUnniest blog: the angst it would cause in the Leftwing Blogosphere over a win by a blog dedicating to mocking their many foibles. Today I give you an even better reason. To DEFEAT the far Left and viciously anti-religious (except for Muslims) Sadly No! This is your motivation of the day. To get an idea of how truly vile the Sadly No! site is, take a look over there for yourselves to see that I am NOT exaggerating.
Oh, yeah, my serialized short story. I will probably start serializing my "Confessions of a Satellite Dish Salesman" starting tomorrow when I have a chance to catch up on my sleep. Thursday night I only slept about 2 hours. Last night only 4 hours and I have to split out of here in half an hour for the rest of the day.
So, DUFU Troopers, prepare for battle! As we saw yesterday, it won't be easy but building up more of an early lead should keep us in front. Again please vote HERE for the DUmmie FUnnies as FUnniest blog.
Thanx to everyone for your INCREDIBLE support!!!

Voted again.
Looks like DUmmie FUnnies is leading the left wing Sadly No! by close to 400 votes.
We will make sure you win this PJ. You are one of the best conservative humorists out there.
That's NOT Enough!
BTTT!
Get over there and VOTE every 24 hours. Two Click For PJ - One To Get There - One to Vote!

THAT is a great idea!

The other thing is: MAKE SURE you're actually voting for the DUmmie FUnnies and not for the one above it (Boobs) or below it (Sadly). The way screens and scrolling work--even trickier than butterfly ballots--you MIGHT inadvertently click on the wrong circle by mistake!
DUmmie FUnnies: 1187, 29.2%
Sadly, No!: 722, 17.7%
Boobs, Injuries and Dr. Pepper: 597, 14.7%
PJ’s now up to 1,210 votes! Woohoo!
Now to catch up on the threads and maybe to catch up on some much needed shut-eye for awhile.
You like me! You really...Aw, don't make me go Sally Fields on you folks.
