Everybody please prepare yourselves. Not only to vote but to GET OUT the vote. Think of yourselves as precinct captains. Please urge your family, friends, co-workers, and online associates to VOTE daily for the DUmmie FUnnies. I have already appointed franksolich as precinct captain of the Conservative Underground to GOTV on that site but each of you have many places on the Web where you post or have your own blogs so please post the links to the DUmmie FUnnies there.

As a SPECIAL BONUS for the FR readers, I will post a DUFU voting thread here later. In order to make it interesting to return again and again to that voting thread, I will post daily serialized short stories called "Confessions of a Satellite Dish Salesman" about my BIZARRE experiences selling satellite dishes in La-La Land. If you have already seen the movie, "Tin Men," that would give you some idea and flavor of what selling big ticket items is like. Please keep that vote thread bumped when it appears.

This contest won't be easy to win but, with your support, I believe it can be done. Thanx in advance for your help.

There are three other blogs that will give me a lot of competition in terms of votes. However, if we can get a SURGE early in the vote department we can get a good lead on them.

That’s what I want to do, set up a link line in my ping plus my posts. It’ll be automatic text I can copy/past into any post.

Will this be a static thread or a dynamic series of threads? I’d prefer a link to a static thread so I can just copy/past it when I do my daily ping. Or, how ‘bout this; A small icon of ‘Lil Beaver that’s the link, with a note adjacent to it reminding everyone to click to vote?

Thanx. And not to work on the first installment of “Confessions of a Satellite Dish Salesman.” I was thinking of starting to write this a few days ago but I was too superstitious to attempt that until the DUFUs was actually named as a finalist.
