He went to a Denver station and whenever I was in town, I would call to just to say “hi!” and tell him Bush’s WOT was the right thing to do.
Never got on the air but the producer/call-screener always told me, “I’ll let Jay know you miss him.”
Wasn’t that the second ‘leaving’ for Denver? It seems to me he’d left WLS once before. Then came back. Not that I miss him, you understand :)
