President George Bush has repeated his belief all religions, "whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God" an assertion that caused outrage among evangelical leaders when he said it in November 2003.
Bush made the statement Friday in an interview with Al Arabiya reporter Elie Nakouzi.
Al Arabiya is Al Jazeerah's top competitor in the Mideast.
As the president and Nakouzi walked from the Oval Office to the Map Room in the White House residence, Nazouki asked, "But I want to tell you and I hope this doesn't bother you at all that in the Islamic world they think that President Bush is an enemy of Islam that he wants to destroy their religion, what they believe in. Is that in any way true, Mr. President?"
"No, it's not," said Bush. "I've heard that, and it just shows [sic] to show a couple of things: One, that the radicals have done a good job of propagandizing. In other words, they've spread the word that this really isn't peaceful people versus radical people or terrorists, this is really about the America not liking Islam.
"Well, first of all, I believe in an Almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God. That's what I believe. I believe that Islam is a great religion that preaches peace. And I believe people who murder the innocent to achieve political objectives aren't religious people, whether they be a Christian who does that we had a person blow up our blow up a federal building in Oklahoma City who professed to be a Christian, but that's not a Christian act to kill innocent people.

He is greatly in error..
More GW happy talk for the Muzzies. We all know Muhammad was a dark evil false prophet. This automatically means he was delusional about his Allah. There is no such thing. These days allah is the collective hallucination of a billion Muslims. Hallucinations can have power over weak minded people
When Christ was resurrected, a "train" followed Him to heaven. This train were all the Saints who believed Jesus was the Messiah, and those who had predeceased His ministry (relying on faith in God's promise of a Messiah).
It is those Jews who's faith were counted for righteousness (prior to Christ's crucifixion) who will be the "guests" at the feast of the Marriage of the Bride to the Lamb" However, they are without their physical bodies. Only those who died in faith in the efficacy of Jesus atoning work upon the cross (and those alive at the time) will be translated/resurrected out of this world and possess their bodies when they meet Christ in the clouds. After the Marriage Feast, Christ brings His Bride (the Church) back to "His friends". Those will be the faithfull remaining on the Earth during the Tribulation. That will be Christs 2nd Second Coming (when He puts an end to Armageddon, judges all nations and implements His Millenial Kingdom)
Those Jews who died in the faith of the promise of a Messiah (prior to Christ's crucifixion) will recieve their glorified bodies at the second resurrection (also known as the resurrection unto death). There are only three who are presently in heaven with their physical bodies: Elija, Elisha & possibly Enoch. Because Scripture tells us that it is for men to "live once, and then the judgement" that leads many to believe that the two witnesses during the Tribulation will be Elija & Elisha (and possibly Enoch) in that the two witness will be killed. In ALL of Scritpure there are only two people who called fire down from heaven: Elija & Elisha (something the witness are prophecied they will do).
The bible tells us by their fruit we will know them.
It says anyone that denies Christ will not be acknowledged by Christ.
In saying this he has denied Christ.
TAmen !
Scary it is; that image looks occultic.
You’re repeating yourself...
Forgive for sure, because he forgives us, but when he said judge not, a few verses later he told us we would have to judge. He only meant that we first have to get our own act together, because the standards that we set in judgement are the standards to which we will be held.
NAsbU John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
Religion is what man does. Religion has never been God's way; God's way is obedience to his commandments, not making up your own set of rules and obeying them.
Mar 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
By the accounts of all witnesses, the men directing McVey were dark skinned middle easterners.
Agreed!
Rev 13:13b cross-references: I Kgs 18:38; II Kgs 1:10,12
According to A.T. Robertson on Rev 13:13:
That he should even make fire come down out of heavenhina kai pur poiêi ek tou ouranou katabainein). Purpose clause again with hina and the present active subjunctive of poieô and the object infinitive of katabainô after poiei. Christ promised great signs to the disciples (Jno 14:12), but he also warned them against false prophets and false christs with their signs and wonders (Mar 13:22). So also Paul had pictured the power of the man of sin (II Ths 2:9). Elijah had called down fire from heaven (I Kgs 18:38; II Kgs 1:10) and James and John had once even urged Jesus to do this miracle (Luk 9:54).
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; - Rev 13:14aConsider the following passage:
Mt 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.Strong says about "vision":
- 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
- 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
- 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
- 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
- 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
- 8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
- 9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
3705. orama horama, hor'-am-ah from 3708; something gazed at, i.e. a spectacle (especially supernatural [emphasis mine):--sight, vision.

According to Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary:
Then the fire of the LORD [emphasise mine] fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. - I Kgs 1:38I didn't know where you were going with your comment; the record had to be set absolutely crystal in that regard.
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
