Assad's had 20 days to comment (or even be photographed) and has so far declined.

If the theory of hacking Russian air defense modules (around the world, wherever they're installed) is correct, then we might be all slowly backing away from an '07 Bay of Pigs-type-urgency.

W has been projecting a grave demeanor for a while now, something he rarely does. This could go biblical, if Syria does something else crazy, forcing Israel to take out Damascus.

I have been through it again and there is one other very possible scenario.

Ehud Barack learned of a planned shipment of nuclear material when he took the office. How he learned in not known but presumedly it was from sources in North Korea.

A decision was made to allow the shipment and to closely track the vessel, allow it to reach port, disembark and be shipped overland to the site.

When stable, at the site, it was destroyed in a remarkable precise, clean and absolute manner.

Those making and receiving the shipment are stunned by the patience and competence of the combined effort to bring about the destruction.

.....But then this annoying, seemingly unrelated fact pops up, it seems Syria had a rather spectacular chemical weapons accident that killed both Iranians and Syrians, in the very recent past....

My take on your analysis is Syria got poked hard with a very sharp stick and rather than admit it, Syria blamed themselves for a serious accident that killed themselves and Iranians.

Better they admit serious gooof killing themselves and Iranians than North Koreans or Russians who also may have been killed in the air raid..

What I meant is that Iran probably trusts Israel with nukes more than it trusts Syria with them.
If that's not the case, they are bigger fools than anyone thinks.

said that four SAMS were fired,,,never heard a word about
the Zsu-23’s or Quad-37’s/etc.,,,

Radars ‘went dark’ may have originally been radars ‘went blind’. Got messed up when it went through the babel fish. And the ‘accident’ in Syria was reported on 2 months ago when it occurred. Back then, no Iranians where stated as being killed. Just injured. And of course no mention of WMD agents. That did however occur around the time that Israel apparently ‘began the planning’ for this new air raid.
