The headlines are full of it, Clinton taking outsized campaign contributions from people either already on the lam, or about to be.

Really, where's the news?

Norman Hsu, Charlie Trie, Peter Paul, the Ching Hai Buddists, the mysterious Mr. Wu in Macao and the helpful Ms. Chu.

Shopping bags full of cash dropped on desks.

The list goes on and on.

Hillary has decided to donate $23,000 of the funds from Hsu to charities of her choice. Two realities, both typical Clintonisms: A vigorish of 2.3% is not bad at all. Hsu hands Clinton $1 million and when they're caught, Hillary hands $23,000 off to charities.

UPDATE II and BUMP: Captain's Quarters reports that the Department of Justice has opened a criminal probe of Mr. Hsu's contributions to Hillary Clinton and other leading Democrats with a particular focus on the source of his funds. The Captain also points out how easy it would have been for Senator Clinton to be aware of Mr. Hsu's criminal background, if she cared.

I wrote to my local paper today asking them why, when their stated purpose is to present news of local issues, their headlines and stories all week have been directed at the Idahoan Larry Craig tapdance, rather than at our own N.Y. state politicans accepting donations from Hsu and the Paws. I also mentioned Hillary v Paul which is being heard in California Appellate Court on Sept. 7th. I told the editor it was his chance to prove his paper did not have an agenda to promote the Democrats. I’m sure he’ll take me up on it quickly. /sarc

Hillary fund scandal has been covered up now for 6 days by the MSM Craig story.Since Craig will stay through 30 Sep 2007 will they continue to head-line Craig to cover-up Clinton’s Norman Hsu money scandal.Will they cover-up the PeterPaul vs Clinton Hearings on the 7th. of Sept.???????.....
