The bottom line is this. If Americans want a leader who does not attempt to hide behind the skirt of federalism, does not have to explain why he flipped and flopped like a beached cutthroat trout, and who has always understood that the unalienable right to life comes from our creator and not state politicians or courts, then Duncan Hunter is the only choice...

>>>>>Your integrity has nothing to do with it. It has to do with your position. Don’t make it personal.

You compare me to Steven Douglas and his pro-slavery position, and you say you're not questioning my integrity. You're making it personal, not me. You know my position and it hasn't changed in 34 years! A right to life amendment is my #1 priority. That WILL NOT happen today, tomorrow or next year. It may never happen. Not until the hearts and minds of Americans are changed. That will take time.

Overturning Roe v Wade and sending it back to the states is the next best alternative. You can't see it because you're blinded by a bad case of political absolutism. The same political absolutism that Alan Keyes preaches.

Frankly, I think you don't want Roe v Wade overturned. You want the issue to remain in the political arena, where you and Alan Keyes can kick it around for years to come. That position is out of step with everything pro-life conservatism stands for.

LOL. Maybe he’ll pull a Dole and fall off the stage. Actually, I do not wish that upon him. Rudy, perhaps, but not Fred.

It is that simple. Alas, there are people who should even know better trying to disuade folks from joining the Hunter team. That is there right. Just as it is mine to expose Hunter’s opponents as the moderates they are.

I do not buy into the coronation theory. The same people who are telling me how wise and disciplined Fred is for waiting ‘til the official campaign season (post labor day) to enter the race are calling Hunter’s ascension impossible. If Hunter is polling poorly in January, then we can talk.

Very good point, A+B=C, but B+A can't equal C? Settling for what the media has convinced some is the best choice, with the best chance, over the years, is why we find Rudy where he is today. We have settled once too often or at least I know I have.

Those days are over for me and I refuse to be compromised by those parroting poll numbers, spinning the truth and those making puerile taunts about poll numbers and campaign money.

This is the way its always been and what is it they call doing the same thing over and over, and then expecting a different result?
