Needs of the Many ^

Posted on 08/07/2007 1:39:33 PM PDT by vaper69

Remember the judge who sued for millions of dollars over a $10.50 alteration? You already knew he lost his case, you already knew the cleaners were counter-suing, you already knew there was a collection fund set up for their legal fees, but did you know that Judge Pearson may lose his job?

Let me know what you think ... take the poll.

Of course he should. Anyone who would use the law in the manner that he did to try to destroy someone who displeased him has no business whatsoever sitting on any bench anywhere in this country under any jurisdiction! He has a contempt for the law that places his desire for vengeance above the law and a vengeance that allowed him to twist bad law to use as a cudgel against honest, hardworking business people. He’s a disgrace.

He is one of the worst lawyers in modern history. Pearson is now an internationally well-known certifiable psychopath.

Plus he is of course a democrat, and what's bad for democrats is good for America.

Here is the greedy shyster thug now, hauling his documents in tow.

An easy one, though I have some ideas what "other punishment" could be....

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

He ought to know better than tie up courts for this kind of crap.

98% is about as high as I’ve ever seen poll results. No sympathy from the general public on this one.

Judicial Benchmarks: Judge Pearson reviewed
From the “Court Jesters” File: Judge Roy Pearson of Washington, DC, may soon find himself looking for work. You may recall that earlier this year he infamously sued Custom Cleaners for losing his pants. The suit demanded $54 million in “damages.” The Commission on Selection and Tenure of Administrative Law Judges sent Judge Pearson a letter not only decrying his antics with the lawsuit, but also criticizing his work as a judge over the last two years. He isn’t out on the street yet, but he may soon need a good pair of pants for job interviews.

Something I never saw pointed out thought out this story. Do we really know if judges wear pants under their robe?

That man is an idiot that has no business being a judge! I hope those dry cleaners clean his clock!
