I would send a copy of the e-mail from Colin Gooder of the Macon County News to Colin’s boss. I would also send a letter to the editor of the Macon County News and let the readers see for themselves what kind of jerk is writing their “news”.

The answer to that question is easy. They are Socialists whose goal is to create a strong centralized form of government by taking power from the individual. Our Democratic Republic is anathema to Socialism. Any good news for us lessens the chance they can attain a Socialist run government.
Their biggest orgasm would come from a Muslim/Communist/ Socialist takeover. However, the next day when they were shut down or shot/beheaded they might wonder a bit. An idiots delight.

If the news out of Iraq, as reported in NYT, has these types frothing at the mouth, well, life ain’t ALL bad.

I see that Colin Gooder is the editor of the Macon County News (and Shopper!), and that his wife (or Mother) is the publisher. I think the people of Macon County NC need to know what a tool runs their newspaper.

This retard thinks one should read The Nation to learn what is going on in Iraq. That’s almost as funny as the NYTs being worried about slanted coverage from the WSJ.
Send him some links of Iraqi bloggers and US military bloggers, sounds like he could use a dose of “the truth”.

I’m sure that those who work at the Macon News should have insight into the high regard he holds women.
A rhetorical question I know, but.....It is what Liberals are all about, besides the increasing trends to be hateful and profane. Liberals must have “bad news” in order to come up with a government program, regulation or law to address the “problem.” Liberals hate to hear that the economy is doing well, that living standards are rising, that unemployment is down, that abortions are down and on and on. The Liberals and their champions Kennedy, Clinton et al want to restrict individual freedom, and expand Federal(village)control of individuals in all areas of their lives. American’s have much to lose, and we are losing much every day.
These people are just saying what most journalists really think. Oh to be a fly on the wall in their meetings...with a tape recorder.
