It’s always funny that they consider terrorist threats (which are real) as “fear mongering” but telling everyone to hate and fear Republicans is justified.
We are headed for another 911 with these people in power.
Have to wonder how liberals have survived, the way they coddle the scum and are clueless about real threats...reminds me of cockroaches. Wonder if liberals will live through a nuclear bomb?...with these nuts in charge we might find out. sigh.
DUmmies consider Wal-Mart to be a greater threat than Al-Qaeda.
Think of that school in Boulder, CO.
To them, it'll be Bush's fault just as everything else is. Their minds (I use the term sarcastically) are closed to reality.
Hey, PJ, how’s it going with the new townhouse? Did you get the furniture situation settled yet?
“We all know this fearmongering is bullshit....”
Unless of course it is being done by ALGore or MMoore!
I'm leaving the furniture stuff to my wife. She wants to leave almost all our old furniture behind and get new furniture. The only decision I will have in decorating new townhouse will be selection of pictures on the wall. My wife normally has good taste but once, a couple of years ago, I came home to be confronted with the most tacky paintings imaginable on the wall. They looked like stuff sold at the gas stations. I'm not an art snob but even I have my limits.
I wouldn't mind a giant pic of Li'l Beaver on the wall. Okay a bit tacky but FUn!
BTW, for Freepers in South Florida-—NOW is the time to buy a home. Prices have dropped a lot in the past year and I don’t think they will drop much further before they start rising again. Better to buy a home when the Bell curve of prices are still falling slowly than to wait until it quickly RISES from rock bottom on the other side of the curve. At that point you are competing with way too many buyers who want in on the deals before it is too late.
What? You want a picture of Bobby Blake on the wall?????
Oh, that's right, OUR Li'l Beaver.
It's the opposite in our house. I do the decorating. I'm good at color matches and such. It comes from my 25 years in printing. The wife lets me run amok.
I’ll bet my relatives in Punta Gorda and Coral Springs love that. My cousin in Punta Gorda especially since she’s elderly and on her own in a townhouse. She’s talked about selling in the past year. I doubt she feels the same now. Her son in Coral Springs is doing well so can handle it.
I’ll be seeing them up here in a few weeks so I’ll see how property values have hit them.
Top 35! Who’s da man?
You know, I've never been prudish about swear words, but doesn't this just say it all? No matter what the subject of the thread is, doesn't the fact that they'd give a thread that title just say it all about them?
Yeah, it reminds me of how during the Carter, Reagan, Bush and Clinton administrations we described the national space of the U.S. as the American homeland." Heck, I remember a lib using the term in an article in Atlantic Monthly back in '88 or '89 that was attacking the Reagan-Bush reliance on tactical nukes in Europe. He said such weapons would never be used because escalation to a strike on "the American homeland" was far more horrible to contemplate than a communist-dominated Europe.
What's that, DUmmie? You say you were talking about Nazi germany when you asked that rhetorical question? Oh well, then maybe you should read a book or something. The Nazis called it "The Fatherland."
Um...I'm just spitballing, but I think it's called "The First Amendment."
Kudos to you PJ!
You’ve picked a gem of a DUmmie thread to highlight. Of the things that pose potential to likely threats to our lives today, Dhimmis choose to ignore the greatest (global terrorism) in favor of the least (natural shifts in the climate).
So where do we go from here with the ever-widening gap in perspectives?
You betcha and it will be a lot worse
