You do realize that Ronald Reagan wasn't always anti-abortion?

I judge people by their actions, not just words alone.

Even you can't deny that Fred Thompson has a perfect pro-life voting record. Those are his actions.

You are looking more and more like a shill as opposed to a good objective conservative who wants to see many candidates that share our views. I like Hunter. I like Thompson. I want to see more candidates like those two in the race.

You, on the other hand, have all of your eggs in Hunter's basket.

Since I have asked you twice already if you would supprt Thompson if he is the nominee, and both times you have refused to answer, I have to ask you one more time;

Will you support Fred Thompson if he wins the nomination?

If you refuse again, you are disqualified from serious debate for lack of objectivety, among other possibilities.

“Even you can’t deny that Fred Thompson has a perfect pro-life voting record. Those are his actions.”

I don’t deny it. But you can’t deny the fact that Thompson has made pro-abortion statements in the past, and that does trouble me. It might not bother you, but to me that shows that he is not serious about being pro-life. I have nothing against you if you disagree with me on this, but it’s what I believe.

“You, on the other hand, have all of your eggs in Hunter’s basket.”

I am a conservative and I am not ashamed to admit the fact that I support the most conservative candidate. I wish that Thompson was more conservative, but he’s not. Wishing it were true does not make it so.

“Will you support Fred Thompson if he wins the nomination?”

I already answered that. I know that it’s not the answer you wanted to hear, but it is my honest answer. I will be supporting the most conservative candidate.

That would depend on what he says after he actually enters the campaign and participates in debates. It would also depend a great deal on who he chooses as his vice presidential candidate...Eight years is a long time, and there's no guarantee that someone with cancer (even if it's in remission) will be able to serve that long.
