Felt like I was in some natzi camp getting ready for the showers. Needless to say, I voiced my opinion on the matter to the management. Told them that I was not at a sporting event, funeral, union meeting, blah blah and asked him when Wagner was scheduled.

Their hate is blaring. A few years ago you could say, "I know he wasn't raised that way". Unfortunately nowadays, he probably was.

You KNOW they don't need any of us for that. We can't make them look any worse than they already do. I know you've heard the saying "You just can't make this stuff up"...it applies here, I believe. Actually, they are WORSE than I ever could imagine over there. Most of the time, I can't stand to read it.

Yeah I know but I have often thought of signing up over there just to play with them and get them riled up. Make outrageous comments and accusations like, “I saw President Bush playing pat and giggle with an intern”. Or “in a dream it was revealed to me that hillary clinton was really the 2nd coming of Christ”. Just silly insane comments like that and watch them take and run with it.

Just so you know, the powers that be over there watch new members closely until they reach 1,000 posts. If they suspect you are trolling for any reason, they will award you what I call the Order of the Granite Block, also known as tombstoning. After 1,000 posts you get more latitude.

If you can stomach it a donation (preferably small) might help.

But don’t expect a refund if they decide to tombstone you later.

Yeah I have heard that and I don’t think my constitution is strong enough to go 1000 posts. So I haven’t done it and I probably won’t. That makes me all the more appreciative of Pea Jay for what he does.

Don’t insult the Ramones by lumping them in with DUmmies, They were pretty patriotic and proud to be American. Dee Dee was an Army brat and Johnny went to a military academy. They loved war movies and collected war memorabilia. And they absolutely HATED hippies. All are reason enough to have a place in my top 3 bands of all time...well, that and their music is incredible!

No. It's now done throughout MLB after 9/11. Ironically, it's even played in SF during Giants games.

It wasn't a car wash on a military base, was it? You get treated to the tune twice a day, when the flag goes up, and when it comes down--they DO give you a warning, though, so you can run for cover and not get stuck standing and saluting in a parking lot halfway to your car....

Saluting? Please tell me this DUmmie isn't a military member.

This DUmmie would really hate Okinawa. There we had to stand at attention through our national anthem, the Japanese national anthem, and the Marine Corps Hymn.

And we LOVED it!
