MEXICANS ARE GOOD PEOPLE

I think that most people from every ethnic group are generally good people. But that doesn't make being an illegal alien a good thing. Nor does it mean that a nation should say, well, okay, you're good so we'll just let you stay. It must be some kind of Jesuitical reasoning used to go from "Mexicans are good people" to "amnesty is warranted."

" Unlike some other Americans, many Mexican Americans are good people who possess a deep faith in Almighty God."

So what??? If they come here in violation of our laws, they're simply criminals. All the tap-dancing around with semantics doesn't change that. Arrest them and deport them.

Matthew
12:1 At that season Jesus went on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples were hungry and began to pluck ears and to eat.

12:2 But the Pharisees, when they saw it, said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which it is not lawful to do upon the sabbath.

12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him;

12:4 how he entered into the house of God, and ate the showbread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them that were with him, but only for the priests?

12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath day the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are guiltless?

12:6 But I say unto you, that one greater than the temple is here.

12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

12:8 For the Son of man is lord of the sabbath.

Oh, please. Get me my guitar. I feel a spell of Kumbaya coming on.

"We must not forget" a whole bunch o' things, including "There but for the grace of God, yatta yatta...." But them Mexicans (not all of whom are Mexicans, BTW -- what a dolt!) are law-breakers, which kinda messes up the "good people" argument.

This is so obviously a case of mercy being shown to one group (los illegales) ending up being harsh injustice being inflicted on other groups.

The proble with a religion which lets anyone in is that you get some real tofu-for-brains kumbaya types.

Madre de Dios!

Mr. Bemowski is making a really pitiful attempt at confusing the issue. We are not talking about Mexican-Americans, which implies Americans of a particular ethnic background. The immigration debate centers upon illegal aliens, who are not Mexican Americans, but citizens of other countries, some from Mexico, others from various places.

Sure, some Mexicans [sic] are good people, some are not; what does that have to do with the debate? All of those illegal aliens have their own countries that are responsible for them. The United States cannot take care of the world, no matter how much our politicians want to try to build a legacy by attempting such.

It is very important to remember that unlike Black Americans, bigotry against Mexican Americans is still not being fully addressed.

Unlike some other Americans, many Mexican Americans are good people who possess a deep faith in Almighty God.

Is the real message here that if we don't bow to this now, we are all unrepentant racist, bigoted sinners doomed to everlasting hell and damnation? Sure sounds like it.

Most Mexicans are here illegally, and no amnesty bill is going to change that, except make matters worse for this nation.

We must not forget that it is only with great difficulty & through hard work at low-paying jobs few other Americans want that many Mexicans eventually become citizens of the United States.

It's a sin to lie like that, Vince.

Sorry, but when I see them flying our flag up side down on our land, I can’t really think of Mexicans as being good.

And I’d like to buy the world a Coke, and live in harmony. However, my local market is flooded with illegals trying to buy formula for their multiple anchor babies, so I can’t make the purchase.

Please allow me to tell you about this fine hard working class of people. They work cheap and hard for the resort community here in Beaufort County, SC. At the end of the day they return to their homes in the USMC community, where they occupy overcrowded homes about a mile from Parris Island. Never idle; evenings and weekends are invested in the production of high quality documents to assist the newly arrived. They have their own pharmaceutical trade and therefore don’t place any major strain on our county medical facilities. The USMC Community wants to thank our Federal Officials and the local employers for bringing these wonderful people to our neighborhoods.

“Mexicans are good people.”

And the sky is blue and grass is green.

Brilliant commentary. /s

And we get condescended to by yet another “better”.

So I guess there would be no reason for Catholic leaders to go live in Mexico where they can help and live among the poor.

Illegal immigrants aren’t “Mexican Americans”. They are Mexicans who WANT TO BE TREATED AS Americans.

Unlike some other Americans, many Mexican Americans are good people who possess a deep faith in Almighty God. Therefore they deserve to be treated with compassion & respect. In addition, we should double or triple the number of immigrants allowed on an annual basis with our friends from Mexico.

It's all about getting warm bodies on the benches, is it?

Since when is insisting on a respect for the nation’s laws a sign of bigotry? (I’ll answer my own question, since the Democrat Party figured out it would benefit from flooding the nation with poor uneducated government dependent workers / voters).

So now we can’t post a photo relevant to the issue just because it has an offending hand gesture posed by “good” Mexicans? There’s a lot of the same shot posted throughout FR. I guess you’d better get busy, you have a long day ahead of you finding and removing those.
