It is very important to remember that unlike Black Americans, bigotry against Mexican Americans is still not being fully addressed.
Amnesty should continue to be part of our approach when attempting to solve our immigration problems with Mexico. The contributions hard-working Mexican Americans make to our society easily wipe out any so-called "free benefits" legal or non-legal immigrants may obtain through local, state, and federal programs.
Unlike some other Americans, many Mexican Americans are good people who possess a deep faith in Almighty God. Therefore they deserve to be treated with compassion & respect. In addition, we should double or triple the number of immigrants allowed on an annual basis with our friends from Mexico.
We must not forget that it is only with great difficulty & through hard work at low-paying jobs few other Americans want that many Mexicans eventually become citizens of the United States. It truly a blessing that so many Mexicans seek the opportunities the USA offers, & we should be honored to receive them in greater numbers into our country.
It depends on how serious a punishment you are advocating in my opinion. Is probation and a fine enough?
I think you’re on to something here ;)
Please allow me to tell you about this fine hard working class of people. They work cheap and hard for the resort community here in Beaufort County, SC. At the end of the day they return to their homes in the USMC community, where they occupy overcrowded homes about a mile from Parris Island. Never idle; evenings and weekends are invested in the production of high quality documents to assist the newly arrived. They have their own pharmaceutical trade and therefore dont place any major strain on our county medical facilities. The USMC Community wants to thank our Federal Officials and the local employers for bringing these wonderful people to our neighborhoods.
“Mexicans are good people.”
And the sky is blue and grass is green.
Brilliant commentary. /s
And we get condescended to by yet another “better”.
So I guess there would be no reason for Catholic leaders to go live in Mexico where they can help and live among the poor.
Excellent question.
HOW COME THESE “GOOD PEOPLE OF MEXICO” carry protest signs, while in Amderica, that say “Old White Gringos should go back to Europe and Die”.
How Come?????
I do indeed distinguish between Mexicans and Americans of Mexican Decent. Americans are citizens of the US and Mexicans are citizens of Mexico.
Illegal immigrants aren’t “Mexican Americans”. They are Mexicans who WANT TO BE TREATED AS Americans.
Unlike some other Americans, many Mexican Americans are good people who possess a deep faith in Almighty God. Therefore they deserve to be treated with compassion & respect. In addition, we should double or triple the number of immigrants allowed on an annual basis with our friends from Mexico.
It's all about getting warm bodies on the benches, is it?
No. They should all go back home and wait in line. If they don't arrest and deport.
If low paying jobs are essential to keeping the cost of produce down, then why wasn’t there more restraint shown against raising the minimum wage?
Since when is insisting on a respect for the nation’s laws a sign of bigotry? (I’ll answer my own question, since the Democrat Party figured out it would benefit from flooding the nation with poor uneducated government dependent workers / voters).
Show some stats. I call it a lie!
Border jumpers=GOOD
Legal Americans=BAD
Say want you want, I suppose, but legalizing illegals IS amnesty and that is what the president and the senate are advocating.
If you do feel strongly against it, try and express yourselves in a humane manner. Otherwise we all look bad.
The above statement from you in mind... advocates for the Z-Card, Gold card, whatever card that legalizes illegals should try and express themselves in an honest manner. Otherwise they all look bad.
