I won’t vote for Giuliani under any circumstances.

You might want to check out the track record of the InTrade “sideshow.”

It aint fools throwing money around.

Past results indicate that the bettors are remarkably well informed.

perhaps it's a vent thread? I have no idea. During the Port Snort, during a particularly venomous day, the Mark Levin Thread was banished to The Smoky Back Room.

I think that there's a conspiracy that may interest you.

anyone can enter Salt River.

Then why the hesitation in making them viewable by non-members.

All you have to do is register on the site.

But remember:
This membership application form does not grant immediate access to the site. All membership applications are reviewed by an administrator before acceptance. You are not guaranteed access to the application by filling out this form.

It seems that the lead anti-FReeper WAckos need to determine if you are up to their anti-FReeper Wacko standard first. From what I can tell, being a real conservative (fiscal AND social) is probably a sure-fire way to get black-balled.

sorry, not interested. i just find the failure to acknowledge the overt FR bashing on WA, as disingenuous at best. i don’t care that it goes on, but trying to pretend that it doesn’t is what i find less than honest.

But there's one major difference, non-members can see the SBR, it's not a closed thread. (I just logged on with a coworker's computer, he is an non-FReeper and the computer is two days old, hence no cookies or anything else.)

Honesty has NEVER been a strong point for liberals.

The great thing about WA is that I can head over there every three or four days, and in about 30 minutes read every post made to the site since my last visit.

Our Smoky Back Room is public ~ available to all.

Salt River’s draw as the ‘real’ views of its members, makes the public threads appear insincere.

Now, now, try to be fair -- the average WAcko is just as insincere in private as they are in public.

That's because nearly everything the WAckos do is on closed threads. That's why you see someone who hasn't made a public comment in two days, yet was active a few hours ago.

How about Thompson/Guiliani...with Gui as VP.

Nope. I don't want a gun grabber a heartbeat away from the Oval Office. Besides, I imagine Giuliani's ego is too massive to allow him to settle for second place.

Well, frankly I’m glad to see Howlin plugging for Fred, and dishing it to Areafiftyone.

I’m starting to think that what they show the public is totally different than what they say in the closed threads. At the very least, I’m sure that many of the WAckos will change their tunes when Fred announces that he is opposed to abortion, homosexual marriage and euthanasia. After all, conservatives “have had your foot on our necks for too long.”

you may want to check my posts again. I didn't say that it doesn't happen.

As for being "less than honest", lets not forget what the genesis of that site is. What do you expect? A thank you?

Just take a look at some of the posts on this thread. Bashing seems to be a way of life to some people. Yet they are the same people carping and kvetching about FR being bashed.

i have bashed no one and i happen to think that the way things worked out is the best for all concerned. the posters there seem very happy with their site and those of us still here are just as happy not to have to listen to the rudy crap 24-7 that we were subjected to in the past. some people i really liked went there and again, i think the break was inevitable and healthier than the volatile brawl that this place was when they were still here. in my humble opinion, it needed to happen.
