Can a Conservative Poet Survive Today’s Liberal Hegemony?

"Can a Conservative Poet Survive Today’s Liberal Hegemony?" --This thread was deleted from a prominent intellectual message board, so it must be a great conservative topic.

With the recent takeover of Congress by the Democrats, the firing of Donald Rumsfeld, and the problems that Judith Regan is having; is it possible for a Conservative poet to survive in today’s Liberal-left world of poetry?

Thanks for the encouragement.

I looked up Professor Librescu. You are right he was a true hero. It is nice to know that there is another conservative writer out there. Sometimes it seems like I am the only one. We need to network more.

My wife and I are conservative writers as well. There should be some kind of literary conservative group for people who are writers but don’t drink kool-aid hemlock.
