I warned them. Im going to be removing Ron Pauls name from any further LGF straw polls, because his supporters are deliberately spamming our polls to make it appear as if Paul has more support than he does. Be aware that his results in the poll immediately preceding are not legitimate.
They arent cheating, as in voting multiple times, but they have sent out emails and posted the link to our poll at several spots on the web, urging people to go vote for Paul. The end result is the samethe poll results are skewed, and its not an accurate measure.
Internet polls are not scientific anyway, but when the gaming is this obvious Im not going to let it slide, or to let our poll be misused by supporters of a man who, in my opinion, is nuts.
Even if they werent doing this pathetic maneuver to artificially pump up Pauls support, Id very seriously consider removing him anyway, because I found his remarks last night about 9/11 insulting and dangerous, and highly offensive. But make no mistake, hes not being removed simply because I disagree with himhes off the LGF poll because I dont want my site being used to falsely inflate his popularity.
[what a weird sounding phrase]
Should we around here reply to LGF with, "so what?", or "good for them"?
Paul is running for president in the wrong party.
He needs to contact Michael Moore and get with his program.
It doesn’t have to be a supporter of his as much as any dimocrat in general would want to poll for him.
I doubt that they are Paul supporters, more like moonbats just causing a ruckus to prop up a low-tier candidate as to harass the high-tier candidates at this time.
It appears the Rudy people got smarter and ran around voting in polls. Note the totals for the LGF poll has more than twice the number of votes as the 1st debate.
I think Johnson is making a mistake.
It is true that such online polls are not “scientific.”
However, I think that “intensity” can be seen by such a thing as spamming a poll.
In short, the message I get from their spamming efforts for Paul indicate that his supporters are fired up.
Is that useful info? Yep.
I wouldn’t mind if that happened here on FR, but then that’s going a bit far...
Campaigning for votes is not acceptable to Little Green Footballs.
Ron Paul is totally correct.Read the CIA reports.
