Thanks for the ping! ------- I will tolerate Rushbo's lies as long as I know there's an alternative on the dial to his bile. As long as there is diversity on the airwaves, there should be room for all types of political and social speech. The problem is when those airwaves are controlled by a handful of hands and our choices of who we listen to are limited. [The problem is that liberals consistently FAIL on the airwaves. Look what happened to Al Franken, Jim Hightower, Mario Cuomo, Err America, etc.. They all FAILED because of LOUSY ratings, not because of some secret conservative conspiracy.] ---------------------------------------- We have a winner!! :-) These idiots honestly believe that THEY aren't allowed on the airwaves--please! The majority of Americans (even liberals) realize how stupid their explanations sound out loud on the radio and they won't even listen or support themselves!!! Not Rush's fault, or Sean's, or Dr. Levin's, or Laura's, or anyone else's that the people who make the most sense (ie: CONSERVATIVE talk show hosts) have the highest ratings of all! :-) No VRWC here, for Pete's sake. ;-) Just supply and demand, basic economics.

Shhhhhh Actually we did have a secret conservative conspiracy to give them lousy ratings. I used to work for Arbitron and it is much easier to manipulate their computers then it is to hack voting machines.

Free speech for those who use it truthfully and honestly but lies and distortions and deceptions shouldn't be protected from the will of the people. And, let's face it, without lies and distortions and deceptions, there isn't any conservatism.

I swear they don't even have half a brain between all of them. If their ideas are so great, so truthful, so inherently good for the country why wouldn't they WANT to put both sets of ideas on the table? If their world view is so much better it should be obvious to everyone. They're such chickens. How can they possibly hope to be in charge if they're afraid of ideas they don't agree with being discussed in the public square? Who wants to be led by people who can't win unless they silence those who disagree? I swear that thread is a character study in cognitive dissonance.

OK,but explain this...how are you going to "knock them off the air" without getting the state involved? We've already seen how successful your "boycotts" are. As long as their advertisers are making money they'll continue to support said hosts. Seriously, how would they accomplish this without some kind of law? And we're the ones accused of burning books. You can't buy this kind of stupid.
