I hope they feel that great big rush of pride when Hillary or Obama or whoever sign us on to Kyoto, carbon offsets, socialized medicine, confiscatory tax rates, free speech zones, abortion on demand, the homosexaul agenda, failing public schools yadda, yadda, yadda. ".

You do realize that "or whoever" includes Rudy Giuliani, at least. Maybe Romney too, depending on what he decides he believes next week, next month, next year.... who knows what that guy would end up supporting in the general election, or (God forbid!) as President!

— President Hillary wishes to extend a thank you to you!

“Hillary will be president if you don’t support Rudy!”

“The boogey man will get you if you don’t go to bed now!”

There is no boogey man.

Hillary will not be the D’s candidate. (Stated with as much athority as you had when saying she will be.)

Scare tactics work on juveniles and the ignorant.

We’re talking about the primaries here. Why bring up the general election?

True, in this thread, but I've heard enough of the "I could never vote for a RINO, blah, blah, blah and take the crap from the democrats..." that I decided to spout my views.

Get back to me when you can construct a coherent sentence.

Giuliani would undoubtedly sign AWB2 without any hesitation.

If you could direct me to any recent quotes by Giuliani saying, "If elected, I will sign a AWB gun law, to confiscate AW's from gang members and kooks, and you know who you are".

Thanks, I'd appreciate it.

That may be true, and we’ll find these things out in the next year or so. Should Rudy or Romney take a hard left on important issues before the primary they’ll take the fall for it. When it comes to the general, I’ll take a RINO who goes along with my views half the time over a socialist who does none of the time.

Allow me to restate my original statement. I will vote against any Democrat that runs for President even if the Republican choice is not my personal favorite. I will not allow a Democrat to become Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will vote against Hillary.

If Rudy gets the GOP nomination, there is certain to be some other non-Hillary voting opportunity on the ballot.

— I will vote against any Democrat that runs for President ...

That’s an admirable position.

I just don’t like seeing that worn-out scare, “Support Rudy or you’ll get Hillary!” thing on every thread. Probably much the same way you hate the Rudy in Drag pics. (Me too. I want to yell, “Lighten up, Francis” everytime someone posts ‘em.)

Oh, and thank you for replying on my thread.

We will find someone else, besides she may not even get the nod. And all of the Rudybots fear tactics to get support doesn’t work with me and many others.

We haven’t even had the first primary yet.

I should repharase my statement. This is not about Rudy, it’s about not allowing a Democract to become President of the USA and that means, regardless of which Republican gets the nod, I will vote for them.

True. In point of fact, 45 percent of women voters state they will not vote for Hillary if she runs. I would assume that if she somehow got the nomination, Al Gore would also run. He would likely get more votes than she would too.

I was thinking that if both parties nominated liberals, a more conservative third-party alternative was almost certain. There are enough people who loathe the things Rudy stands for (free abortion, for example) that some enterprising souls are certain to come up with an alternative for us other than just sitting home mad.

Well now, I will agree with you.

Early on the Rudybots were posting pro-Rudy is our saviour posts every 3.5 minutes and insulting all who didn’t support their position.

I’ll tell you who will get the nod, whichever Republican comes out with a real set between his legs and goes after this left wing socialist surrender agenda.

And I mean no holds barred.

He gets the nod, fire up the base and do it soon.

This looks familiar. I hope McCullough shows more consistency than Farah.

Yea me too. I still remember that article LOL. Rudy though is as every bit as liberal as several others like Ford, Clinton, Bush Sr, & Junior. Not a one of them could have been considered conservative by any stretch. Rudy isn't quite as liberal as Carter yet but give him time.

Is that even possible?

I really liked his video webcast. Like the leftwing mayor, he does needs to do a bit of work on sibilance when he speaks. He could be more effective as a speaker and he does have sound conservative instincts and a serious outlook on policy and pro-life issues. He also mentions Rudi’s positives without being dismissive of him entirely.

I don't think that any of the conservatives on this forum who are having problems accepting Rudy's candidacy would have had any problem supporting Ronald Reagan. I voted for Reagan in 1980 and 1984, I admired him then and I revere him now.

Well of course you know all this about President Reagan now, but let me assure you it was not known when he was running for president. I remember the press showing us every nasty comment sweet Patty made. We only knew he had supported abortion at one time and didn't when he ran. We had never had a divorced president. It was a very big deal.

I am not necessarily a Rudy fan, but I keep seeing everyone digging up all this ancient history about all the potential candidates. People can and do change (or maybe the more appropriate word would be "hone") their political philosophy, Reagan proved that.
