Say what you will about Rudy, at least he is not capitulating to the politically unrealistic ideologues. He is going to try to win it without them. At some point they will have to coalesce around the guy just to make sure their phone calls are answered after the election.

Rudy Giuliani has figured out what Romney has not: the social right needs him more than they he needs them. Once Rudy's nomination is a foregone conclusion, they can decide whether they want to be relevant or not.

Sorry, but the social right needs a candidate who will stand firm for innocent life and protect it. It needs a candidate who will stand with the 80 Million gun owners in the country for their right to keep and bear arms, not against them.

Sadly, Rudy Guiliani is not that candidate.
