I hope they make the podcast available of it.

This should be an interesting, although somewhat one sided, debate. Newt will come fully prepared and Kerry will be his normal clueless self attempting to bring his miniscule VietNam experience into it with imagined memories of Cambodia.
To: BuffaloJack
I did not know Kerry served in Vietnam.
:^)

On a lighter note have you noticed that John Kerry is looking more and more like Herman Munster, lily! oh lily!

Either Newt isn't running or he is the first known person to be running for VP.
I think it's time Newt fans get serious about who their second choice will be if he doesn't declare a candidacy.

Yes...it was bad...how could you dare misquote a classic! ;-)

That’s ridiculous, this new environmental religion/global warming has got to be stopped and the sooner the better. It is a SERIOUS ISSUE because it’s where the radical, anti-American, anti-establishment movement presides at this time.

I hear you, and you're probably right. Once I see one worth a crap, I'll let you know.

And you're exactly right. Going forward, there's going to be no bigger pretext for taking away our rights than "Climate Change".
Believe me, the "high priests" of this movement, the real true believers, believe in one of two "solutions" to this "problem". One is a return to a "sustainable" subsistence farming economy, preferably in communes with no livestock, where everyone lives in poverty for the good of the planet. The other is the extinction of the human race for the same end. This is not a joke or an exaggeration.

Join the crowd.
; )
It's a little like the princess kissing the frog.
First, to a conservative, they're all frogs.
Second, since your kiss will turn him into a prince, choose your frog wisely.
I think the Founders wouldn't disagree with that notion. They were a pretty cynical bunch.
To: George W. Bush
Of course, if you go back and look over the list of Presidents...
Well, only a small minority of those 43 men were really worthy of the office.

If you’re stupid enough to debate one of the most brilliant minds in Washington, you might just be John Kerry.

Aha. Another conservative cynic.
It's a miracle we can even bring ourselves to vote. But Churchill was right: democracy is the worst form of government unless compared to all the others.
Hold your nose, crawl over the broken glass, pull the lever. And expect the worst.
To: George W. Bush
It's probably for the best. Only a truly great man would be worthy of the power the office of President of the United States grants, and great men have an annoying tendency to become tyrants.
Your mention of the Founders reminded me of a thought I once had that we might have been better off if, instead of a President and a Vice President, they had simply created two co-equal Presidents with veto powers over each other. Hey, it worked for the Romans...
