Then I’m announcing the GOF event. Gathering Old Farts. There are many of us out here, we just have to figure out which way to go. If you see us trying to figure out the way to the gathering, please point us in the right direction.

It was the impetus for my phone call.

The show is archived btw, so all of ya'll need to listen. You'll hear the host say they have a call from 804 area code...that'll be moi.

They said they weren't trying to split anything, and welcome GOE to participate.

My take???
These are just folks like us, who have an idea, and are running with it.
No different than what PW tries to do every weekend somewhere in the world.
They just want to do it on a massive scale, on one day, in every major city in the country.
Sounds like a plan to me.
