Giuliani Pushes Pro-Choice on Sean Hannity Radio: Hannity Gives Him a Pass
Personal ^ | 22 Mar 07 | Personal

Giuliani (sp?) was asked about guns, gays, and abortion. Weak on guns, weak on civil unions, and decidedly pro-choice.

His argument paraphrased: "I'm personally against it, but the woman gets to choose."

Ante-bellum South and some Mayor talking to his friend: "You see, I'm personally against slavery, but each city should get to make it's own decision....."

I wish he was pro life all the way, but at least he's not a flip flopper like McCain and Romney. He's been consistent for years and is not a hypocrite.

Another episode of "pimp my rino" on hannity's show.

It must be killing hannity that rudy is coming in third on his web poll - and he's behind two people who haven't even declared their cadidacy.

& he said he's for parental notification & against late-term abortion & that he'd appoint justices like Thomas, Scalia, Alito & Roberts...& now you know...the rest...of the story...

What struck me, though, is that Hannity is a bulldog. He doesn't let anyone else toss out illogical stuff and not at least confront the illogic. He tosses out facts, figures, talking points, etc., and when it's done, you know that Hannity has just promoted the conservative position.

I'll bet we could go to the archives and find him doing exactly that with pro-choicers.

But, not this time.

Why isn't it possible for him to call Giuliani to change!?

Hannity: Change to pro-choice, Rudy!

Rudy: Oh, OK.

Do you think that Thomas, Scalia, Alito & Roberts are pro-choice? Who do you think will eventually reexamine Roe v. Wade...the prez or the supreme court (hoping that Fred Thompson runs)...

Well, he just talked about how to be more fiscally responsible through cutting major agencies 5 - 10% across the board. Exceptions would be made like for the military, but that heads of agencies would have to account for any budgetary cut exceptions. That's accountability with some bite to it...

Sean Hannity: Keeping lonely housewives with his IQ at room temperature meanderings since 1999.

Unfortunately, Hannity is just one of many conservative pundits now cutting ties with pro-lifers and with Christians generally. I suppose the attack on the priest on his TV show was part of the picture. Evidently he thinks that's the way the wind is blowing in this country, and he may well be right.

You must be an hour behind me...the show ended here ~55 min. ago. I like a lot of what he had to say, but the bottom line is that I'm voting for the Republican nominee...whoever that turns out to be...

There are not enough votes on Scotus to overturn Roe. We need another 2 presidencies with trustworthy leaders who will put the right men in place.

It's not just the scotus.

I wish he was pro life all the way

He's not pro-life AT ALL. He has accepted money from and spoken to pro-abortion groups like NARAL and supported public financing of abortion while mayor of New York.

Educate yourself on the man you're considering making the mistake of voting for.

I just love the way Hannity claims to go after Republicans when they compromise while helping the same RINO-types get elected and re-elected. Hannity wants to give the appearance of being principled when he is nothing but a lap dog for the Republican party.

I understand. Would you like someone who'd nominate justices such as Scalia, Thomas, Alito & Roberts? Of course, they may be filibustered anyway :-(

No, Hannity is only a bulldog when he is debating a Democrat or libel. If Giuliani were a Democrat, he'd would have been all over him about his actions that protected illegals while mayor of New York, his opinion that global warming is man-made, his advocacy of gun control, etc.

I would like someone whom I trust to actually follow through on that.

If you were this man's fourth wife, would you trust him?

That's what I mean. With others - even Republicans - Hannity has no problem saying that he thinks they're OK people even though he's got to tear into their politics and opinions.

He can even say, "I support you, but your opinions are wrong." You don't get even that with Giuliani.

When it's Rudy, all Hannity does is get adolescent gushy. You gotta wonder if he's slobbering on the mike.

If you were this man's fourth wife, would you trust him?

1. I'm not having a sex change operation.
2. If I did, I wouldn't be interested in marrying him.
3. I'm not marrying any presidential nominee.
4. If that's your sole criterion, I guess you're voting for Romney.
5. I'd trust Rudy on the most important issue more than any other current nominee.
6. I'm still hoping that Fred Thompson decides to run.
7. I'm still voting for the eventual Republican nominee because the last thing I want is President Mrs. Bill Clinton with a Democrat-controlled House & a possibly Democrat + RINO filibuster-proof Senate.
