We've some exploding True Crime this week.

The lovely John Couey got the death penalty and NY cops indicted for the bridegroom shooting.

I've got a couple of stories about female teachers and adolescent loves. One story is so tragic and illustrates very well a very unintended consequence of what we might laugh off as a young boy's lustful dream.

A lovely Dad stabs and tosses his baby out the window and a missing Georgia boy found. Were his relatives hiding his crime like Couey's relatives hid Jessica?

In the Boston area, a sexual offender who slipped through the cracks raped and murdered a woman and murdered her 12 year old daughter. He was found guilty and given life in prison. We're too
wimpy to have the death penalty here, which this guy
deserves.

Boston Herald:
>>A repeat sexual predator was found guilty yesterday of raping and murdering a Woburn mother and then killing her 12-year-old daughter who authorities said witnessed the horrific attack.
Michael Bizanowicz, 41, a Level 3 sex offender from Lowell, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated rape.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said the “heartbreaking tragedy” resulted in the toughening of the state’s Sex Offender Registry. The verdict also puts “the poster boy” for repeat offenders behind bars for life, Leone added.
A Middlesex Superior Court jury in Cambridge deliberated for less than two days in the murder of Joanne C. Presti, 34, and her daughter, Alyssa Presti. Both were murdered Jan. 7, 2004, in their Woburn home. Presti’s toddler son was found unharmed in his crib.

“Just break it down,” Leone said. “Based upon evidence, he raped and killed a mom on a couch in her home with a 12-year-old witnessing it and chased the girl up to the corner of her room.”

The case led to legislation requiring sex offenders to list any place they’ll be staying for more than two weeks.
