Hi,
A couple of friends and I have started a new blog lampooning the "People For A Perfect World" types out there who want to legislate every single facet of our lives, and I'm looking for news articles from around the country and world to highlight. These articles should be about legislators or activists of any stripe who want to create laws for the purpose of creating a "Perfect World" where nothing bad happens and everybody lives in 3-part harmony (to quote an old 3 Dog Night song). So far we've highlighted the various ridiculous ramblings of such as Sally Lieber, democratic assm. of California who wanted to ban spanking, Lloyd Levine (also CA) who wants to force everyone to use fluorescent lighting in order to save the planet. Stuff like that.
Anyway, if you've got any article suggestions (esp. from local news sources), please send them to andypolly@peopleforaperfectworld.org

Thanks!
In case it wasn't clear, site is a total parody.
Stick around here and just rustle out all the stories on smoking, trans fat brouhaha, globull steaming, center for science in the public interest - a nannofascist lefty group (CSPI), and you'll do fine.
Good luck with your site!
PFAPW? Why not PFHHHT?
Thanks for the tips! I've never heard of those last two groups, so I'm make sure to google news articles about them.
Cheers,
Sorry, 1 "group" not 2 "groups"
PFHHHT?
think Bill the Cat
lol!
Your welcome.
Islamofascism takes lives.
Liberal-socialist-communism takes away freedoms and lives.
It's past time we address the threat of nannoleftist fascism. Like some dude said, the desire to save humanity is often the false face for the desire to rule it. And the left is ALL about the "greater good."
