Mostly you're just snippy because he's saying things you disagree with. He's challenging your materialist, reductionist view of things.

It's less religious, more political. We can all enjoy watching the Left get taken to the woodshed. It also has fewer undefined terms (Godwin used Coons, Phase II, etc with the assumption that the reader has been following his blog and knows how he uses them).
