I actually don't get too worked up over leftwing loons because they are a great source for comedic material. However, I absolutely DETEST terrible comedy shows such as the pathetic show Fox News is trying to foist on the public. Therefore, I will soon be posting script segments for my own "Media Circus" comedy show. It is an idea I've had for years. It is about a failing liberal cable news station. The format will be somewhat similar to SCTV only based on the cable news channel.

Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

If Senator Obama was known to have body odor, then the joke would've been funnier. But to my knowledge, he doesn't. Then again, he is a black and they're usually all stinky and black-smelling, aren't they?

That's the amazing thing, isn't it? He DOESN'T have body odor! I mean, you got an African-American who's clean and bright and articulate. . . . I mean, that's a storybook, man.

Oh, wait. That was a DEMOCRAT who said that, wasn't it?

Never mind.

[Songwriter Charles Henrickson of the Free Republic did a quick B.O. joke way back in December.]

DUmmie FUnnies 12-11-06 (Obama Orgasma), from post 31:

B.O. is their fantasy lover. "He's so dreamy!" they swoon to themselves. If they had Tiger Beat for female school teachers, B.O. Plenty would be the cover boy.

It's no stretch to suggest that successful artists are generally liberal.

Part of the reason the movie industry tends to skew liberal nowadays is the soft blacklisting of conservatives, as well as the moral depravity of much of the product.

It's no stretch to suggest that successful artists are generally liberal. Creating effective art requires an open mind. . . .

An open liberal mind like yours, Bob Cesca, which automatically assumes that conservatives cannot be imaginative and creative.

liberals are by-in-large blessed with a degree of self deprecation. . . .

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Now THAT'S funny!

I don't know. I thought the clip was moderately funny. The level of humor is about the same as some of the jokes on The Daily Show, not that that is any kind of a standard.

I saw another clip this morning that I thought was very funny. It opened showing the White House and the announcer says "And now - the President of the United States". Then they show the Oval Office with Rush Limbaugh sitting behind the desk. Later his phone rings and his secretary announces "The Vice-President is here". And the door opens and in walks Ann Coulter.

I say give the show some time. Even SNL wasn't all that funny at first.

Don't be surprised when Carrot Top makes a reality show. . . .

Is HE the father of Anna Nicole's baby?!?

They stand for national stagnation and moral decay.

Unlike those DEMOCRAT pillars of moral purity: Bawney "Turn the Page" Fwank, Bill "The Man from Grope" Clinton, Gavin Twosom, James McGroovey, Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy, Jesse "The Daddy" Jackson, William "Cold Cash" Jefferson. . . .

DRAIN YOUR OWN SWAMP, NANCY!

I saw the Rush clip on H&C last night and it was painful to watch. I just wanted it to be over after 10 seconds of it, you know, like a root canal.

The format will be somewhat similar to SCTV. . . .

SCTV was BRILLIANT, very funny! I laugh just thinking of Guy Caballaro, Edith Prickley, Johnny LaRue, the Shmenge Brothers, Lola Heatherton. . . .

The format you describe, PJ, of a cable news channel would be loose enough to allow satirizing current events.

The Simpsons has a knack for doing that, too: they're watching Kent Brockman, a celebrity visits Springfield--lots of ways to work in contemporary references and still stay within format.

"No living republicans are humerous, few are rational, most are consumed with greed, and all are full of their own self-importance. They stand for national stagnation and moral decay."

Well, last time I checked, Dennis Miller nor Kelsey Grammar were sitting in their whitey-tighties in momma's basement, pecking away on their keyboard, and stealing twenties from her purse to order late-night pizza.

I love how they just fall right into this.. they are making fun of how LIBERAL media acts.. and here they all get their panties in a wad about 'racist overtones' when the show is mocking the left's racism.

Just out of curiosity, I've noticed an interesting phenomenon.

Is "the internets" a liberal thing, a DUmmie thing, and "the internet" an unaffectated thing?

There have been exceptions, but generally overall, it seems if one bumps into "the internets," without looking at any of the content, one knows circa 90% of the time it's DUmmie content.

I heard one of the writers being interviewed the other day on the Dennis Pragers radio show. It is the same writers from the show 24.

I LOVE 24, but this comedy show will tank.

LOL Yeah liberals are good at self deprecation.....

I guess thats why John Kerry was whining about suing everyone who looked at him dirty during the 2004 election.

I think DUFU or Rush or some combination of the two has broken You Tube. At least I can't get there today.

Instead of posting your script you should talk to the producers if you can. I loved SCTV and have the NBC DVD's that came out in the last two years.

Well, I finally get to see the video and I have to say, it made me chuckle. It's not that bad.

I have pretty low criteria for comedy, though, first it has to be funny (make me laugh) and second it can't be gross out. Or there has to be pretty funny stuff surrounding the gross out.

I can't stand Animal House just because of the food fight scene. The rest of the movie isn't funny enough to me to support people playing with food.

Most people disagree with me but only I have to live with me.
