Welcome aboard, PINGEE #970.
We have to get this resolved NOW! My wife is really REALLY upset about this and now I am as witness my dizzy attack the other night.
Heh heh heh. Good going, Steroid Cop!
This little exchange is so telling. It's just so damn funny that those out there all up in arms about "rights," etc., don't even know that it's 100% within anyone's rights to photograph anything and everything that happens in public.
"Anyway...I yelled at him a little bit because it made me so angry that someone like this even exists."
Hey, kevkrom - winner of the Peace, Love, and Tolerance award here?
The haircuts were a dead giveaway. AND the expensive camera with a lens like a damn bazooka! Hummer lens.
(my photographer's cap firmly on)
The best I can tell from zooming in is that the camera is a manual focus Nikon. 'Prolly' a Nikon F100 which uses 35mm film (not even digital). Notice the guys left hand on the bottom on the lens, he's adjusting the f-stop (aperture setting) or the zoom setting. And from the camera profile and the little I can see of the white name on the viewfinder, looks like it says NIKON. Not exactly 'expensive', well for a Bolshevik I guess it would be.
As to the "lens like a damn bazooka! Hummer lens." Sheesh what a maroon. That's nothing but a ZOOM LENS, and one that goes to 'extreme' wide angle. My educated guess is its a 24mm-85mm zoom. And that's why the lens hood (the funny looking thing on the lens end) has those cut outs, mandatory on an 'extreme' wide angle lens.
In any case the camera guy (secret agent man) knows what he's doing as he threw away the crappy standard camera strap and replaced it with a 'pro' model.
("extreme" is a relative term. I use it as 35mm is the 'standard' wide angle lens length - which btw sucks, save your money.)
We PAID for a professional interpreter the last time like they DEMANDED we do and NOBODY was there to interview us on the SCHEDULED date (Dec. 4) even though they made us sit uselessly in the lobby for over an hour.
This case needs to be resolved NOW!!!
These people are utterly certifiable. OMG, a clean cut guy...he must work for "the Man".
BTW, hubby has been in the military for 13 years and has never been issued a sweater like that. The guy with the camera? His hair isn't high and tight enough to be a Marine Officer. These morons are just making stuff up as they go along now.
First of all -prayers for your wife. Welcome to the US!
"We should start a wiki photo database of odd folks at demonstrations. It would be interesting. Sort of a rogues gallery." This has to be the best line of the day! Liberals think a clean-cut guy wearing a sweater is "odd"!
Of course, if anyone out there is from Mel Martinez's office, I could use his help too. This case is a NO BRAINER. They want to know if we are really married. Gee, I've only been posting about this for months plus I did a two part humorous podcast about what it was like getting married over a year ago. But because a pic in a photo album offends some bureaucrat, the green card case is put on hold seemingly forever.
And you just KNOW they won't reimburse you for that expense, even though THEY scheduled the appointment and THEIR interviewer was a no-show! And WHY CAN'T THEY SUPPLY AN INTERPRETER, for God's sake? Why did YOU have to supply one?
Hey, undercover Nazi spy, if you're surfing this thread, THUMBS UP!!!!!
They are sick. My God, this is humorous!
LOL! I would love to do that and freak the freaks out.
I dunno. All I know is they didn't supply an INTERVIEWER. The original bureaucrat lady was MIA that day and her supervisor, who could have handled it, was at the hospital for some cousin with an ailment. Meanwhile they made us WAIT for over an hour in the lobby while knowing all the time they had NO ONE to interview us. Then they told us we would be receiving a rescheduled appointment in the mail right away. It NEVER arrived.
And those folks want to run our health care system???
-Eric
Ban gay....I like it!
Remember. The immigration supervisor was MIA, not because SHE was sick. It was only because a cousin was sick. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
