Our 12 year old daughter has been taken away by the stateI am assuming the "State" specifically refers to the Wisconsin equivalent of Child Protective Services? I actually have a friend of mine in Utah who works for that state's Child Protective Services, let me ask her if there's anything that you can do on your end.

there is a national organization...support group ...NAMI...that is for the families of mentally ill people and can offer guidance for dealing with the mental health system.
this group can offer support and also information, etc.
