They probably just asked Sandy Burglar to pass some paper to the Whiteouthouse.
That was pretty good if I do say so myself : )
Break that down for me? I'm trying to listen to the SOTU : ) And I just tonight explained to hubby that I was one of the few, the proud who can hear what the President actually says ; )
Taint got no vicks rub, a belt of Night Qil will have to suffice soon.
That was excellent, ma!

Just getting warmed up. Part two tomorrow.
You're right on all counts, AmeriBrit. The system has never had any oversight and the Iraq war is exposing just how rotten it's become. There have been many warnings over the years including the Cox Commission Report of '02.
The dishonor continues to pour forth.
That is hilarious!
Dude, you have way too much talent! Is that what you were doing while our PRESIDENT was speaking? I dig Kyle's braid, I think I will sport one tomorrow. Thanks for the funnies.
Can't wait for the next installment!

No household is complete without a smelly jar of Vicks to make everybody whine : )
I sure hope you feel better tomorrow!
HEHEHE.. Thats was funny!
So even for my own benefit, there's a need to take the outrageous stuff that's going on and try to present it in a clear way. Also, to try and highlight the common elements between the cases--which is the conduct of the NCIS.
Otherwise, we're stuck trying to tell a very long, very complicated, story that no one will be able to follow.
All: By the way, anyone who blogs is welcome to take this idea and do whatever with it. Improve it, do your own version, whatever you want. The main thing is to try to tell people what the heck is going on.
Kyle is the quiet, artistic one. While Kyle enjoys curling up with a good book, Kelly enjoys water sports. Together, they're making UCMJ history.
I think I have a nervous tick after watching the SOTU. I should have taped a piece of paper over Ms. Pelosi's face so I could concentrate on the president. Between her blinking, chewing and other movements, I was cracking up through the whole thing. Maybe that was her plan?
Back to Dr. Gelles.... Not sure how significant his name is on the members of the Peace Division of the APA (American Psych Assoc)...may be one of those honorary things.
However he was instrumental in getting interrogation techniques watered down at Gitmo Bay. I think he went through logs and summarized what was being done to the detainees. He reported to the NCIS director, David Brant, that interrogators were using ''abusive techniques and coercive psychological procedures." Then Brant threatened to pull the Navy law enforcement out of Gitmo. Albert Mora, the Navy's general counsel, at the same time objected as well and took it up with the Defense Dept. (Rumsfield). As a result, interrogation techniques got watered down.
The reference to Abu Ghraib was... Dr. Gelles had speculated that using these coercive techniques in one area of the military (Gitmo Bay) could lead to further uses/abuses in other less controlled situations throughout the military. He called it force drift. After Abu Ghraib, in which some of the same techniques started showing up, people took him more seriously. Of course it may have had something to do with the director of the prison syatem in Iraq, but who knows.
How's that?
Do you have a clear picture of who the interrogators were? Was the NCIS objecting to guys from the CIA or CID or what?
If you're referring to Gitmo detainees, don't know. Don't think it was made public knowledge.
