As I commented on another thread,
You want to completely restructure the world economy to counter Global Warming.
Doesn't your precious "Precautionary Principle" require that you be absolutely certain before anyone does anything.

Heresy trials for those who do not believe in global warming! Burn them at the stake.. Oh that would cause more global warming, so FREEZE them at the stake! No, that would mean using ozone depleting chemicals...
Nuts, how about 30 lashes with a wet noodle.

Furthermore,
Global Warming is something your computer models say is going to happen, say 100 years from now.
Except for one faked study, it isn't even measurable in the present.
Yet everytime there is a bad hurricane, or heat wave, or dry spell, you and your buddies jump up and down shouting "Global Warming".
If you are so sure of your theory, why do you have to lie so much.

"It's like allowing a meteorologist to go on-air and say that hurricanes rotate clockwise and tsunamis are caused by the weather. It's not a political statement...it's just an incorrect statement," Cullen added.
Uh... Heidi - THEY DO rotate clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. (snicker)
(as to tsunamis; everyone 'knows' those are caused by Poseidon, on orders from Zeus.)

So if I expressed skepticism about predictions that last years hurricane season would be one of the worst ever, I could no longer give weather forecasts???

Is global warming REALLY a bad thing. I remember seeing the show about the "Little Ice Age" spanning the 14th through 19th centuries. It was a time of mass epidemics, famine and misery.
Of course, I can see why the libs would be pining for the 'good old days.'

Exactly why is the worlds biggest polluter allowed to sign Kyoto but is completely free of all aspects of the Kyoto protocol and its wealth transfer scheme, is it because they are Communists?

sounds like there were lots of lousy freeper trolls on this thread. hehe. It's more believably than any possibility that there were several DUmmies with brief moments of mental clarity.

Top Many?
Of course, whether there is global is global warming or cooling going on depends entirely on the starting point you choose.
We are cooler than the medieval warm period but warmer than the little ice age. Your point of view depends on where you stand, physically and politically.
