Julie,
Dave Adams and others have seen Dale. His wife left when his son was around 2 years old. He did not remarry. He lived/lives with his now elderly mother, whom he could have just buried. I also know a number of VVAW here in Milwaukee who knew Dale from the organizational days of VVAW. He was in DC for the big protest where John Kerry threw the medals over the wall. He played a prank on John Lindquist.
Dale has left two messages on my phone in the last 6 months, neither did I return.
Take care,
Tracey

WTF? Dale's wife left when the son was 2? He never remarried? He lives with his elderly mother whom he could have just buried?
Could it be that Janet Peters-Gluszek of the obit was first the wife of Dale Peters, then the wife of a 'Gluszek' with whom she had three children; Dale Peters, Jr. being the only child of Dale and Janet - the first marriage? That would in some part corroborate what he's been stating. Or am I missing something here?
Nelly the German Soldiers Angel here. When we did all the research back in 2006 I was provided with a phone number from Dale Peters. There was an elderely woman on phone and said that Dale Peters was outside with his son. We knew that he lived with his mom because another member of Veterans for Progress (don't remember the name) told us a little story and said that Dale Peters now would be cared of and sent to councelling.
