That looks almost as if "standards" would be considered a disease ...

Americans have high standards for themselves, and should have high standards for their voting systems, too.

There are no standards. If one was to observe what standards are in place from state to state or from local to local, all the so-called 'standards' would be different in each location, and would depend on who has control (demonrat or repub) of the voting place. This will never change, no matter what the feds say or do.

I'm sure the Democratic majority will come up with something soon. /sarcasm

You make an extremely interesting point. The states are supposed to be in charge of their voting processes but the feds are interceding inappropriately in the area of electronic voting, which has extremely low reliability and wouldn't pass muster if common standards were applied.
Thank you for your profound insight.

Your comment is both clever and apropos.

It's the corrupt Democrats who want these electronic votefraud systems. They can thus manipulate elections quickly, easily, and undetectably.

They already have standards. If a democrat wins an election they have a mandate, if a Republican wins it is voter fraud. Where has everyone been?

Some of us have been pointing out that the corrupt Democrats are rigging elections, and that it is the electronic systems which make it quick and easy for them to do with little or no risk of being caught.

As for the referenced "standards", the ones for critical application computer systems simply aren't applied to the votefraud electronics.

The corrupt Democrats of the Rendell mob have definitely committed crimes in order to deprive PA voters of real ballots. They have violated numerous elections laws.
