I've given this some thought over the months in trying to determine when, not if, Iran's nuclear sites should be attacked. I've a sense the optimum time was not in the early stages of development when the damage might be undone easily by Iran. The optimum time is in the crucial final stages of development after vast financial and material resources have been expended. An attack at that point will not only destroy Iran's nuclear program, but will cause deep and lasting financial upheaval within Iran. The financial impact will nullify Iran for a long time. IMHO
I'm just getting a kick out of the Psych/ops end of this, as the Iranian leadership reads all of this. Must keep them up nights, straining to hear, perhaps, if that mechanical whine of a high speed jet squadron on the horizon is a phantom ... or the real thing.
