I honestly can't see a nuclear strike on iran happening, and it is not something we should support as there are other viable military options.
Letting israel take care of this will be a catastrophe because it will create all out war in the middle east. People are actig too hawkish without thought for the consequences. Throwing nukes around should scare even the most hawkish of hawks.
From the story:
The Israelis believe that Irans retaliation would be constrained by fear of a second strike if it were to launch its Shehab-3 ballistic missiles at Israel.
They believe. What if they're wrong? Ahmanutjob is like a con in the yard: He won't back down.
Agreed. Folks who toss around the term "Nuke 'em" ought to remember Hiroshima which was a firecracker in todays reality. For a good visual, consult the movie TERMINATOR 2 and the playground dream sequence. That's pretty accurate. My outfit sent me to the US Army's Nuclear Biological & Chemical Warfare school waaaay back in 1981. It scared the foo out of me then and it still does. I'll never forget the graphic one of the instructors gave us as a way to picture the "size" of a 20MT warhead (that's 20 MILLION TONS of TNT explosive power): Imagine a freight train passing a fixed point at 55mph. That train, loaded with the aforementioned 20 million tons of explosive would take 8 hours to pass said fixed point. Know how big a freight car is? Think about that for a moment. Thank God we're not talking in terms of thermonuclear warheads, here. Yet.

Thank-you for being brave enough to inject some sense into this thread. I wonder how many Israel 'supporters' here would be willing to go defend Israel after Iran gets bombed.
