No they should tie a rope to his hands and another to his feet and give one end to the Kurds and the other to the Shiiites and let them "work it out" between themselves.

Drawn and quartered - then send the pieces to the four corners of the country and place his head on a pike in the middle of the Iraqi capital.

Should Iraq Hang Saddam Hussein?

I believe hanging Saddam would be an injustice.

I think a wood chipper would be a little closer to justice.

Where's the much needed BARF ALERT? This article is utter tripe......of course Saddam should be hanged! I'm just sorry that hanging is less horrific than other forms that could have been used.

Shoulda just put a bullet in his head when they found him. But NOOOOOO! We had to drag this out for 3 years or so, and get everybody all exercised about this P.O.S. And also give the politicians, and talking heads something to yak about it. What crap.

Politicians should get their opportunity to get whacked the same as any grunt. What makes them so damn special anyway?

Strictly non-partisan attitude is what y'all are hearing here. I'm an equal opportunity guy.

Where did they get the idea that capital punishment is against either Jewish or Church law? The Talmud describes several different death penalties for specific crimes, as well as the Biblical stoning. And if the Church law bans capital punishment, there are a lot of burned heretics who are owed at least an apology.

I see a good deal of empty moralizing here by people who didn't lift a finger to prevent the hideous atrocities Saddam and his people committed but were happy to stand around deploring them. Now they stand around and deplore his death as well. It may be that there is moral merit in standing around and deploring, but it is also the comfortable refuge of someone who is content to let the other fellow do the hard, dirty, ugly, necessary work. IMHO.

I'd rather he were dragged around the streets with anyone and everyone taking a whack at him, like his statue was.

"BTW, what ever became of Tariq Aziz?"

Perhaps he opened up a Camel Barbeque stand in Detroit.

Somewhere in there I think some pig blood should be added, or just tell 'em it's pig blood.

This guy wants to save the life of a man that would've destroyed Israel given half a chance. Why are so many Jews suicidal?

>>>>Let Saddam die of a heart attack, AIDS, a stroke or other "natural causes" in jail. It worked for Yasser Arafat, it can work for Saddam Hussein.

When was Arafat in jail?

I understand that he requested the firing squad; because there is honor in being shot as a soldier. And that he dreads the noose and all that it represents.
