I am not one of those that runs around blaming the messenger. The rank and file conservative GOP folks knew in their hearts that the party leadership lost their way both fiscally and philosophically. That's why the Dems won.
When the President came out this week and said he would be using his veto power on the Dems to reign in spending I for one found it extremely disingenuous.

I find it extremely disingenuous that you would compare Webb to Bush when he ran against Allen. Webb is a fool of the highest order, and that ain't no compliment. Give him six months in office and both sides will hate his guts.
