Well, it was worth every penny of it. Swift Vets and POWs for Truth was fined today by the Federal Election Commission for violating campaign finance laws. A fine of $299,500 was levied against the organization. The organization ran their website starting in April 2004 right up to November 3 when John Kerry lost the election...

If the Swiftvets have "closed the door a long time ago" are there any assets to go after. Can you declare bankruptcy and dismantle? Is this organization still in existence?
Dunno. I'm still looking into it. Hopefully other people are, too.
