I did not realize that all your posts to me and all my posts on FreeRepublic could be Googled for display.

I had a vanity post about speeding up firefox a long time ago that showed up on the first page when you googled firefox. It remained on the first page for several months and I would always show it to people lol. It was a few pages back the last time I checked.

I upgraded to FireFox 2.0 yesterday and it quit working. Won't even start up. I did an uninstall/reinstall...same deal. I think I'm going to have to do a system reversion to last week's configuration to get it working again.

Pretty much. Welcome to the late 20th Century.

Next you will find out you can reverse search most phone numbers for an address or that Google stores every search you perform and uses it to build a profile of your interests.

I did it and got my address. They have a form which you can fill out to remove it from google's phonebook . Thanks for the info. ~~Pandora~~

Mine is unlisted so it's a no show. I'm not sure, but I seem to remember hearing something about somebody planning on doing much the same thing for license plates at one time.

Yeah. Then again, I've been quoted on quite a few hundred thousand web sites already, plus 30,000 plus answers on yourdan's old y2k web sites, plus a few tens of thousands more answers here, so I guess I can be a little bit snarky.

Oh no! Do that as a very last resort. Do you get any error messages or anything? When you attempt to run it, right click on your taskbar and click on task manager. Look and see if you see firefox.exe. If it's there, that indicates at least part of it is running. Did you uninstall the older version? What OS are you running? Don't do a system restore just yet, we can get through this!!
