Have you noticed the Dollar spiralling down recently? It's more than Iran's nukes and the Democrats winning Congress. Much more serious.

Relegated to Bloggers, though it's editorial and based on feedback from inside Iran and some contacts outside. The AntiMullah source link has generally been accepted as a valid one by FR in the past. Different Moderator today perhaps.
An editorial from Investors.com is on active News so not a blog or is it?
Somehow we fail to conceive the extent of lunacy Iran can turn out to destroy us.

The real big announcement isn't due until Feb, according to Ahmadinejad.
However, the Assembly of Experts election is only 9 days away.

FARS there is no way the Iranians are going to crash the US economy. If they do, they crash the world economy and theirs right along with it.
The one thing the world doesn't understand is that in a depression, the US will still survive.

Earlier news might have some impact on Iran's actions:
UK Banks Bowing to Risk of Action from US on Iran
********************EXCERPT************************
There is growing evidence that US pressure on Iran is having an impact on what had been Iran's major conduits to the rest of the world through the City of London. They seem to be pulling out of Iran-related business right and left. As one senior anonymous London banker is quoted as saying to The Independent, "The consequences of not toeing the American line on Iran have not been made clear, but we were left in no doubt that we might not want to find out."

Could also be that the sick banking system of China is about to have a major hiccup.

A crash in the dollar would have more impact outside the US than inside it, because the Chinese economy would be crushed, and Europe would notice a decline in higher end auto exports. But anyway, currency fluctuations:

The rumored nightmare of the Iranian Oil Bourse was supposed to happen last spring. When it didn't happen, I'd hoped the idea was untenable- looks like they're finally doing it.
Thanks for the post.
