Muslim Imams call for boycott of airlines

Author: Elsworth Toohey,

This is a sad day in the struggle for acceptance of Islam here in Amerikka. If our Muslim freedom fighters are not onboard airplanes, how will they be able to do the work of Allah?

The removal of six Muslim clerics from a US Airways flight from the Twin Cities set off a nationwide uproar, and the Department of Homeland Security's Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties said it will review the incident.

Quote: From now on, Omar Shahin won't be praying at the airport while waiting for a flight. "This was humiliating, the worst moment of my life," Shahin said Tuesday, a day after he and five fellow Muslim imams were escorted off a US Airways jet at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

"To practice your faith and pray is a crime in America?" he said.

Quote: Left behind by US Airways

Shahin, president of the imams' group, called for a boycott of US Airways after an agent and his supervisor, without giving a reason, refused to sell him replacement tickets Tuesday morning.

"I'm not going to stay silent," Shahin said. "I came to this country to enjoy justice and freedom."

Boycott US Airways and show them that we will not tolerate them not allowing our Muslim freedom fighters on board. Their assumption is that all Muslim are linked to terror, when in fact, that is not true. In fact, Shahin is a member of a peaceful charity with no links to terrorists at all.

Does that mean airport security will stop strip searching my 73 year old mother?

Are you certain this isn't a joke? 'Elsworth Toohey' is, I think, a character from Ayn Rand's 'The Fountainhead'.

If they want to boycott, be my guest.

If they can't understand why their actions are considered threatening to Americans, they aren't real Americans themselves. And if they don't want to be real Americans, go back to garden spots such as Saudi Arabia and Yemen and freely practice your religion there.

The website ThePeoplesCube.com uses satire and parody.

While this is satire, there is a whole lot of truth to ThePeoplesCube.com parody.

see post #14. The post is, as I conjectured, a joke.

Not so far from reality, but unfortunately, militant Islamists will continue to try to use airlines, thus requiring all of the rest of us to be treated as criminals before the fact.

On the whole, my own take is that liberal Democrats want a good number of Americans killed so they can say we should get out of Iraq. Given they don't mind killing babies, it is no surprise they go bland when adults are also killed. Just late-term abortions, I guess.
