I would think you'd end up with a very tough bird, using that stuff...
My wife has a tendency to overcook meat which I am trying to get her to unlearn. She doesn't quite understand the concept that you take a steak out of an oven when it is just slightly underdone because it still continues to cook internally. Also the idea that there should be a bit of red or pink in the meat is revolting to her. As a result, when we cook steaks, there are two widely varying times for removing the meat. Typically her's stays in the oven about 20 minutes longer than mine.
That's a new one on me...
Adobo seasoning. Sorry. Good stuff.
Sorry I missed the URL part from an earlier post!

Democrat Plan Summarized in One Word: Draft
by Scott Ott
(2006-11-20) Rep. Charles Rangel, D-NY, yesterday unveiled the Democrat plan for boosting the minimum wage, providing free healthcare to millions more Americans, increasing college attendance, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preventing future U.S. wars of aggression.
Our plan is so simple and elegant that it can be stated in one word draft, said Rep. Rangel. By implementing a military draft, well provide a living wage and free healthcare to our new involuntary soldiers and their families, plus well give them college money after their term of service.
The New York Democrat, who has proposed a draft several times before, said taking many of the 18-to-26 year-olds off the nations highways will decrease the number of automobile fatalities and drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The most crucial element of the Draft America Plan, he said, is creation of a huge military force comprised of less-motivated troops in case the president must decide whether to go to war with North Korea or Iran, or to expand the global war on terror in other lands.
Right now, its the skill and passion of our all-volunteer force that gives George Bush the arrogance to challenge our enemies on their soil, Rep. Rangel said. With a military full of reluctant conscripts, Bush wont be so cocky. Well be safer because, as we all know, when American troops stay home fewer terrorists are created.
Use a Reynolds cooking bag to lock in the steam from the juices and they should cook up in about the same time. Use a meat thermometer and be sure to hit 180*. If you turn the oven down to warm at around 170* and let them "rest" the temperature will climb to 180*. The cooking bags are great!
Nah, I vote for scaring them off. GO, CHARLIE, GO!
And what does Charlie Rangel care if he scares off voters? You're talking about swing voters in the middle who could go either way. But that's not his district. Charlie Rangel's got a lifetime seat in the bluest of blue districts.
Goodtime Charlie's got the blues. He could keep go getting re-elected if he were the last Democrat in America.
Which he may be.
I hope you mean "Adobo" and not adobe (as that would not be good for your smile!)
Another mistake people make is to start carving the turkey while it's still hot. All the juice runs right out, and then it doesn't matter what recipe you used or how correctly you cooked it, it's dry enough to choke ya...
I don't need cooking bags. I just put them in a roaster and follow the instructions EXACTLY. The only thing I have changed is covering the turkeys in adobo seasoning. All I know is that these young turkey breasts, when cooked properly, make for the absolutely BEST turkey I have ever eaten. Juicy and all white meat. Minimal bones and EASY to carve.
Everybody keep that in mind. The JUICES are the key with the young turkey breasts. I think Pedue has similar young turkey breasts as Publix. Great bargains on them after Thanksgiving.
"Son, we need to have a talk."
Fortunately, Rangel has gotten enough publicity to avoid that problem this time around.
(I'd advise Dubya to take this opportunity to rescind Mr. Peanut's executive order and suspend registration, just to highlight the stupidity of the Dems and keep this gaffe alive for an extra news cycle.)
That was two mistakes. Not buying at Publix, buying already cooked meat. You payed extra for that and you could roast fresh turkey breasts in the same time. That was #1.You also paid extra for getting just the turkey breast. That was #2. I bought a 10 pound turkey for less than half what a smaller turkey breast would have cost me. I also get the opportunity to brine the turkey and actually add some flavor to the meat.
Okay, each one will say to cook for 3 hours in the oven. However, since I will be cooking TWO of them at the same time together in the oven, would I need to cook them for longer? And if I need to cook them longer, how much additional time should I add?
If they are fully cooked, you are only heating them. Follow Lurker's recommendation in post #31. Except for browning, I would keep them loosely covered in foil to prevent drying out.
Always, Always, Always roast meat by temperature and NOT by time. Don't forget to allow for an additional 5-10 degrees of carryover temp. rise after you take the meat out of the oven and allow about a 30-minute rest period for turkey for the meat to reabsorb any liquid forced out during cooking.
This brings us to mistake #3. In not buying a whole turkey you are losing the opportunity for pan drippings, the heart, liver and neck to use in flavoring your gravy. You make the gravy while the bird is resting.

You might submit your question on the turkeys to Foodnetwork.com. I'd think one of the chefs over there would know the answer because I've never tried cooking two birds at once.
Telling the truth about what the Dems are up to is now considered some kind of dirty trick. LOL!
When a drafted liberal dies in Iraq, will anyone care??
Will they scream the Party Slogans as they hold in thier intestines, or as Achmed saws thier head off?
After all, it's a DEMOCRAT WAR now....
They'll be dying in the sands for THIER Party, after all, and for the good of Hillary, right?
Why margarine? If these turkey breasts are as good as you say why would you put margarine on them? Use unsalted butter.
I asked about the time and it is the same for the two as for one.
