Jack serves in a pinch. Jim Beam is only good for a "Jim&Ginger" but, when made with Vernor's ginger ale (a one-time Detroit staple!), it is quite good.

My wife bought me a bottle of Baker's for XPmas. Very strong making it a fine "front porch" sipping bourbon. 4 fingers should last you about one hour.

I don't enjoy Beam much at all. Some of these other names are new to me being out here in a small town. I'll have to check them out. There's another brand our store has on the shelf but I can't recall the name. Price wise, it's up there with Knob Creek, but I don't take that as gospel. I'll check it out tomorrow.
