Try Woodford Reserve, too. Very good.

I'll have to check it out. But, out here in the boonies there's not much choice on the shelf. I'll have to run in to DeKalb, IL where the wife works and check the stores out there. They have a somewhat better selection.

Do you guys do any "at home" experimenting with odd-ball bourbons?

I have purchased some off-brand bourbons to try them and found them to be not good. I have a mixing bottle of these brands at home and occaisionally I'll create a very good blend. I need to start tracking what I'm adding.

"American Eagle" is a good brand to blend with others; by itself, well, that dog don't hunt.
