Exactly. I still can't figure this one out. I have a friend from college whose very Jewish, RABIDLY pro-Israel and the most staunch Democrat I've ever known. Evey time I would try to point out to her the antisemitism and hate toward Israel in her own party, her reaction was basically to her fingers in her ears and shout "La la la, I can't hear you". I just don't get it.

Comet or Ajax works on ants. The chlorine in it stops them dead in their tracks. It's a lot better than pestecides and a much cheaper too.

Does anyone out there know how to control fire ants? Cyborg tells me she read somewhere that fire ants find Nutrasweet delicious, right up to the point when they're dead. I don't know if it's true, (cyborg: snopes says not true), but it might be worth a few equal packets to try.
For non-fire-ants here in Pennsylvania, we have found that 20 Mule Team Borax is, again, delicious to ants but deadly as well.
