For years many conservatives have been desperately surveying the political landscape for another Ronald Reagan..........and there is not one in sight.

With an impatience worthy of extreme unction, the alleged hawkish but liberal Rudy is looking real good to them all of a sudden.

Kinda like Helen Thomas would look sexy and enticing to a sailor marooned on a desert isle for 20 years.

Kind of like the Green Bay Packers saying, "If we can't find someone as good as Brett Farve, we are not going to field a quarterback when he leaves."

I loved Reagan. But if our next presidential candidate does not stack up to the Gipper, we do our best to advance our agenda. If we don't get a touchdown, maybe we can get a few first downs.
