I'm really not wanting to be kicked off of FR. My only point is that after all these years so many of us are suddenly and unabashedly supporting a social liberal for President of the United States.
I love FR and have no desire to leave it. I just am not certain at all that widespread support for a social liberal is good for the Free Republic web site.
I think that FREEPRES are discussing various candidates right now. I remember in 2000 people were saying that they wanted Colin Powell, McCain, and various other folks that they were interested in (George Bush was not even mentioned at this point then). I just think this is talk right now. I believe that in the end we will have a conservative candidate (or real close like we always have). We are real early right now and people love to talk about predictions which for the most part never actually happen. We probably don't even have the name of the person who will end up running yet.
Same old same old then. A self admited Gore Liberal Bush ran in 2000. Remember? I'd rather see Rudy deflated on debate of his platform and more important his long standing record on issues. Any canidate regardless of party should be excepted or rejected based on that. BTW I'm not pro-Rudy myself.
