Wal-Mart Contributes 5% Of Online Sales To Homosexual Group
Sign the pledge not to shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club on the Friday and Saturday following Thankgiving
Help recruit 1,000,000 to agree to not shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club (owned by Wal-Mart) on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. Here's why:
In a show of support to help homosexuals legalize same-sex marriage, Wal-Mart has agreed to automatically donate 5% of online sales directly to the Washington DC Community Center for Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender People. The cash donation will come from ALL online purchases made at Wal-Mart through the homosexual group's Web site. This move follows Wal-Mart's joining the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and agreeing to give generous financial help to that group.
Every purchase made online for books, music, videos, clothing and accessories, children's clothing and toys, and electronics at the site will automatically send 5% of the sales to the homosexual group.
With this agreement, Wal-Mart made clear their support for the homosexual movement was a total commitment to the cause.
Many observers feel it would have been a wise business decision for Wal-Mart to remain neutral in the cultural battle over homosexual marriage. But this was an ideological decision by Wal-Mart, not a business decision. Wal-Mart decided to give the promotion of homosexual marriage their full support.
Take Action
1. Sign the petition to Wal-Mart letting them know you will be one of the 1,000,000 who will not shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club on the Friday or Saturday following Thanksgiving. Click here.
2. VERY IMPORTANT! Millions of Americans are not aware of Wal-Mart's support for homosexual marriage. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
3. Print out and distribute the Wal-Mart Pass Along Sheet by clicking here.

I used to be on their distribution until a month or two ago, and much of their email went unread due to time constraints. There's the AFA, the FRC, Focus, Mass Resistance, etc. It's too bad I have to work for a living...
Work??
Oh yes, work!
;-)
These are the same freaks that had a fit and nearly fainted because CBS did not edit out curse words from the documentary "9/11"; spoken as people watched planes crash into the Towers and people jumping to their death trying to escape.
Gays will get more money because of the AFA now and this will not effect Walmart until social conservative set up their own shops.
For some reason that reminds me of The Simpsons episode where Ned Flanders opens up a store selling scissors and other items specially designed for left handed people.
Now, now, now. . . . please do not spoil this thread by getting past the misleading headline and actually reading the text.
Facts are notoriously stubborn things, aren't they?
As long as gays aren't going at it in the ailes (or other parts of the store) I could care less. Our local Wal-Mart in town just closed.
Because a brand new Super Wal-Mart just opened about 10 minutes from where I live. :)
Thanks for your support!
And I'm sure the unions thank you for yours!

I don't buy that. They have the resources to send out press releases on WalMrt, why not list the rest of the companies with similar affiliate programs this particlar group participates in. It was very simple to find the list:

Walmart hasn't learn not to feed the sharks yet.
Walmart joined the gay and lesbian chamber of commerce on August 21, 2006. It is on their web site. This must be part of their pledge to help in the 'cause.'
Excellent observation. We have not been to Walmart since Aug. 21 when they joined the GL community. It has actually saved us a lot of money due to lack of impulse buying, even though things might be more expensive at the family oriented Publix.
Plus, the middle of the road keeps sliding to the left.
This has been discussed: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1735667/posts
And I will now say that AFA at least takes a stand against what they don't like.
At least half of people here gripe about anyone that "attacks" Wal-Mart (or just about any business), but this is not your usual liberal rant about WM not being communist enough.
I myself don't quite mind about this. I look at the overall picture, just like politics. Not every place is perfect, just like not every politician is perfect. But if overall they're OK, I'll support them - or not, as I'm just plain not a Wal-Mart kind of person. Although I do go when I need to.
I am a member of AFA. Sometimes they seem a little extreme, but really, it's great that they are a clearing house for problems in workplaces and gov and entertainment. You'll find out things you never knew (and yes, they're true). E.g., I found out long before pretty much anyone else that the real symbol of gay solidarity is an upside-down pink triangle on purple - and lo and behold, I start seeing it on cars, subtle as if it was a special parking permit.
Believe me, they do not support unions.
This is the same Fine Organization that got its panties in a knot about "profanity" on television - meaning, bad words in a documentary about 9/11, where firefighters were reacting to events as they happened. The AFA is nuts.
I have to ask: is there a "National Black Chamber of Commerce"?
I don't understand why all these business and legal groups exist for homos.
And to use an extreme example to get you to think, would you be fine Wal-Mart (or anyone) tacitly approving of terrorism by allowing 5% commission through the International Jihadi website?
You have to remember Wal-Mart is essentially losing 5% on every sale the Homo Site makes - so they are indeed making a contribution.
They target lots of things. This is just something apparently they only just found out about. They make an article for about everything they find, as they find it. Not just wholesale articles about all the offenders.
